Loganberries are a hybrid of a blackberry and raspberry developed in the 1800's in Santa Cruz California. These dark wine-colored berries have a bright and tart taste reminiscent of a raspberry, but the blackberry's flavor is apparent as well in this interesting marriage of the two. Our Loganberry is a consistent customer favorite year after year. Slather it on a warm muffin or use it as a topping on pancakes! -

This unique berry is a hybrid of Blackberry, Youngberry and Loganberry. Originally developed in Oregon it is now mainly grown in Northern California. Our owner, Robert, came up with the recipe for this wildly popular condiment. As a child during the 1950’s our owner Robert was an orphan and as a cost saving measure the orphanage would serve donated foods (often past the expiration date). Robert remembered the ketchup as particularly unpleasant… so he developed this thick and hearty variety that now has a huge fan following. Many of our customers buy this ketchup by the case. Made the way ketchup was made a hundred years ago, this is nothing like the supermarket variety folks!
